Gary has been a local Georgina resident since 1983.
He has an Engineering back ground as Tool and Die Technologist from George Brown Poly Technical Institute 1982, is a Licensed Technician since 1983 graduating from Humber College and is a Licensed Realtor since 1984 graduating from TREB. He holds special designations in the Commercial discipline of Real Estate.
His Corporate background which involved 15 years at a Global Leader in Automobile Manufacturing. He was directly responsible for setting up the majority of the Dealer network across Canada, which remains much unchanged today.
Through his corporate years he gained seasoned, working and experiential knowledge in complicated assemblies combining Business Solutions, Property, Banking/Financing, Operators, Principals and Governing Bodies having jurisdiction.
In his last 4 years of corporate employment he was in a National Senior Capacity responsible for all aspects of the “Field Operations” disciplines of Canada.
It had long been a desire for him to branch out on his own to build a business. In 1998 he left the Corporate World to assist his wife Kathy Foch, also a Realtor, to build her business to be a Town and Regional Top Producing Sales Leader. Their goal was realized 1.5 years later. Kathy Foch has been the #1 Prudential/RLP Realtor in Georgina and in York Region since 1999.
Shortly thereafter Gary focused on his business appetite in the Commercial Real-Estate field. Today he owns several corporations, has several land developments “in stride” and manages a sizable local portfolio for many Real-Estate investors. He is also the top Commercial Real Estate Sales Producer in Georgina averaging in the multi-millions annually.
He has spear headed many pivotal land assemblies in Ontario which were combined with Business Solutions. However, specific to Georgina, assemblies and sales included the majority of the lands in the now approved Keswick Business Park and the current Walmart lands to reference a few. He has also has been responsible for revitalizing several Plazas and Apartment buildings in Keswick. In Sutton he has been responsible for assembling over 800 acres of residential/commercial development lands, some of which are coming on stream during the next few years.
He has sat on many local Boards over the years including but not limited to the Economic Development Committee, Chamber of Commerce as director for 14 years, Red Barn Theatre, Georgina Military Museum and continues to sit on and contribute to many Private Corporate Boards.
Hi is the founder of Belair Credit in 1999, the Georgina Green Energy ( GGEC), and, Durham Green Energy Co-Operatives (DGEC) in 2011.
With his experiential knowledge of “assembling workable attributes to generate viable business solutions” he has become recognized “go to” person within the Commercial Real Estate Arena in and around Georgina.
